Everything you write or record in Unscripted Prayer is stored on your own device. We cannot read it, we do not receive it, and it is never used to train anything.

The following never leaves your phone unless you choose to export it yourself:
There are no user accounts and no sign-in. We do not operate a server that stores your prayers, because there isn't one.
Subscription information. If you subscribe, Apple processes the payment. We never see your card details or your name. We use RevenueCat to tell the app whether a subscription is active; RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and your subscription status. RevenueCat's privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Crash reports. If the app crashes, we may receive a technical report showing what went wrong — device model, operating system version, and the state of the code at the time. These reports never contain your answers, recordings or prayer requests.
Anonymous usage events. We may record that a session was completed, or that a screen was opened, so we can tell which parts of the course people find hard. These are counts and events only. We never record what you wrote.
Reminders are scheduled on your device. They do not pass through our servers, and we do not know whether you opened one.
Because your content lives on your device, you control it directly. In Settings you can export everything as a readable file, or delete everything permanently. Deleting the app also removes all of it.
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. For the limited information we do receive — subscription status and crash reports — write to us at the address above and we will act within one month.
Because nothing is stored on our servers, we cannot recover your entries if you lose or reset your phone. If your journal matters to you, export a copy from Settings and keep it somewhere safe.
Unscripted Prayer is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also be shown in the app.
